Established in 1999 with the vision of bringing wool growers and processors closer together, the Australian Wool Network (AWN) has today extended that vision to the end of the wool supply chain, all the way from bale to retail, from wool growers to wool consumers.

By sourcing wool grown by AWN clients and taking that wool right through the processing pipeline to a finished garment, AWN can now give a provenance to its premier fashion brands. AWN calls this a Direct Network Advantage or DNA. Each DNA garment boasts a QR enabled DNA swing tag that showcases the wool growers who contributed to the making of the garment, their sheep and the environment in which the wool was grown.
